Kept ("we", "our", "the app") is a shared event photo and task app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We use the information above to operate core app functionality: authenticating you, letting you join and participate in events, displaying your name and photos to other event participants, and storing your content securely.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage), which processes data on our behalf under Google's own security and privacy safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
Photos, your display name, and task activity within an event are visible to other people who join that same event — this sharing is a core, expected function of the app.
Kept requests camera access so you can take photos directly within an event. Photos you choose to save are also accessible via your device's photo gallery, subject to your device's own permissions.
We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us below.
Kept is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
